Thanks to funding from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for my project Sly Village, I was able to work on putting together a short artist profile video. The idea of the video was initially just to have a video montage of some work in progress for my sculpture for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe. But as filming went on it took another form and became more about telling my story, about my work processes and the source of some of my inspiration. I am usually terrible at interviews and avoid them at all costs, but the video format worked for me and I am really pleased with the end result. Thanks to Shona Maskun for her time and patience in producing it.
